Micki sighed and held up the list. "Bottled water."

"Granola bars and beef jerky."

"Hand-powered flashlight."

"Heat pack."
"Check."
"Bandages."
"Check."
"Extra t-shirts, two."
"Check."
"Silver crucifix."
"Check."
"Holy water."
"...hang on. Okay, check."
"Garlic. Ryan, make sure you double-bagged that, I don't want everything smelling like garlic."
"Check. And I did."
"Well... that's everything. Now can we visit the Nexus?"
Ryan smiled, hefting the backpack over his shoulder. "Sure!"
"So, where's your PINpoint so we can get there."
Ryan groaned. "I knew I forgot something."
